Who we are

Junkyard Fitness wasn’t built from perfect circumstances.

It was built from rock bottom.

At my heaviest, I weighed 435 pounds. I know what it feels like to be uncomfortable in your own body. I know what it feels like to avoid pictures, to promise yourself you’ll start Monday, and to quit by Thursday. I’ve tried the crash diets. The low-carb phases. The extreme calorie cuts. The “this will finally be the one” programs.

Some of them worked… for a little while.

But I always found myself back where I started.

What changed wasn’t another fad diet. It was structure. It was discipline. It was learning how to train and eat in a way I could actually sustain. I stopped chasing fast results and started building habits that worked in real life.

I’m Brenden Bowden, founder of Junkyard Fitness.

The before and after photos you see here aren’t marketing — they’re proof. Through consistency, accountability, faith, and refusing to quit on myself, I rebuilt my body and my mindset. I’m not at my end goal yet. I’m still working every day to push past limits, build strength, and refine my habits.

That’s the reality of transformation: it’s a journey, not a finish line. And that’s what I coach my clients to embrace — progress over perfection.

Junkyard Fitness represents rebuilding from what feels broken. Taking the setbacks, the failed attempts, the weight gain, and turning it into strength.

This isn’t about hype.
It’s about discipline.
It’s about building something that lasts.

If you’re tired of starting over, you’re not broken. You just need structure.
